Since the beginning of his priestly ministry – and even before – Father Henri Roy firmly believed in the apostolate of the press. That is why we see newspapers and magazines springing up everywhere he went. The first magazine he launched, L’Apostolat des Oblats de Marie-Immacul\u00e9e, still exists!<\/p>\n\n

<\/a> Within the Pius X Secular Institute, Father Roy was at the origin of several initiatives: the Messagers catholiques<\/em>de la Bible, the Militants de la Presse<\/em>, the printing house Le Renouveau the magazines Aujourd’hui<\/em>Qu\u00e9bec and <\/em>Je Crois, tracts and various publications, mobile trailers to distribute these publications in the cities and villages of the province of Quebec.<\/p>\n\n

It was in this context that the \u00c9ditions le Renouveau was founded, a Catholic publishing house that has released numerous titles over the years that have become great best sellers! It is also this publishing house that has been producing for nearly 70 years the Guide de lecture de la Bible<\/em>, a calendar that proposes a Bible verse for each day of the year.<\/p>\n\n
